January 4-7: Weekly Update

Happy New Year! I hope you have had a restful and safe winter holiday.

Please read the following as we begin learning in term two! 

  1. There are no in-person classes this week (January 4-7).

  2. Virtual workshops begin this week!

    For grade 6 and 7 students/families: To make things easier for term two, I have made one link for each workshop that you can use for weekly. Please bookmark these links so they are easier for you to access. Note that my website (under “Virtual Workshops”) has all these links available to you as well. 
    1. Writing Workshop on Tuesdays at 10:00am – 11:00am. Click here for the writing workshop link.
    2. Art Workshop on Tuesdays at 11:30am – 12:30pm. Click here for the art workshop link. 
    3. Terrific Thursdays on Thursdays at 10:00am – 11:15am. Click here for Terrific Thursdays link. 

  3. For grade 6 and 7 students/families: If I require you to have specific materials for any of the Art Workshops or Terrific Thursdays, I will always let you know at least a week in advance. For this week, all you need is some blank paper, colour pencils and/or markers for art! 

  4. I have uploaded your term two feedback form in your term two folder (within your family folder). 

  5. I have made the term two check-in folders for you already (unless you have already made them or you have indicated you prefer it a certain way).

  6. You can begin uploading work for term two! 

  7. I have made some edits to my website and will be continuing to update it throughout this week.
